Remember these simple, immutable facts:

Your brain and nervous system control everything.

Nervous system compromise can cause ill health that doctors cannot heal. Only your body can do that.

The best doctors remove barriers to your healing ability. That is the purpose and power of chiropractic care.

What is a chiropractic adjustment?

A spinal adjustment is a highly specialized procedure your chiropractor uses to free your body from subluxations.

There are many techniques a chiropractor may use to release spinal and nerve damage.

"Putting the bones back in place" is really unlocking the jammed/fixated vertebra allowing them to move where they body wants them to. Providing optimum health benefits for the patient.

What does a chiropractor do?

Work with the bones of your spinal column and the nerves in and around your spinal cord.

After locating spine and nerve stress caused by subluxations, your chiropractor is able to realign your vertebrae and thus release pressure on your nerves and body structure.

This is called a chiropractic spinal adjustment.

What is a subluxation?

A subluxation consists of spinal bones being out of place and interfering with brain/nerve function.

They can be caused by accidents, falls, sports injuries, birth stress, other traumas and even bad posture.

If you have a subluxation, you cannot function at your best.

Chiropractors adjust vertebral subluxations to improve the function of the joints and decreases irritation of the nervous system.

How should I feel after an adjustment?

Chiropractic care is individualized; the care you receive will be unique for your body and needs and the benefits you receive will be unique as well.

Many patients have reported feeling of deepening peace and relaxation after an adjustment.

Will I feel dramatic improvement right away?

Many people do, but for some it takes time due to some long standing spinal  subluxations that have gone untreated for far too long.

Why should I return if I am feeling fine?

Regular Chiropractic users report improved physical and emotional health, less stress, less drug use, more energy, vitality, and life enjoyment.

Lack of pain is poor way to determine how healthy you are.

Spinal degeneration caused by years of uncorrected subluxations takes time to heal, for that reason you may need to return to your chiropractors office in the future.

SPORTS

Chiropractic is used by top players in sports as diverse as tennis, boxing, football, golf, soccer, hockey, basketball, running, and weightlifting.

Chiropractors help keep the athlete on the field and help stop minor injuries from becoming major ones without the use of drugs or surgery.

"Getting in shape" should always include the "shaping" of the spinal column by a chiropractor.
